Eligibility
Available to new international students enrolling in a Deakin degree who meet their program entry and English-language requirements. Applicants must have achieved at least a 75% average (or equivalent) for undergraduate entry and at least an 80% average (or equivalent) for postgraduate entry. Postgraduate applicants who are citizens of India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Myanmar or Bhutan are eligible with a minimum 75% average (or equivalent).
Eligible countries are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam. Citizens of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Mauritius, Myanmar and Nepal must be residing in their home country.
All conditions must be met and the scholarship is conditional on accepting its terms and conditions. Additional fees may apply. The scholarship does not cover study beyond the standard program duration, including extra or repeated units, and is not available to students enrolled in Health quota programs. Eligible applicants are automatically considered when they apply for a Deakin degree.
